Member Profile - Christopher J. Price

Christopher J. Price is a dynamic young professional and emerging talent at the worlds largest privately held and top 20 overall pharmaceutical company, Boehringer Ingelheim Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (BIPI). As a respected BIPI employee with 7 plus years of successful results oriented performance, Chris brings with him several areas of expertise and tremendous business acumen. Chris is building a successful career taking on various roles of increasing responsibility in successful multi-functional project, program, operations, and financial management experience.

Chris has been employed at BIPI since 2003, where he is currently, a Specialist III, Operations and Business Development in BIPI’s Medical Affairs organization, which he was promoted to in July of 2008. Chris is a solutions-driven professional with extensive experience in project and program management, and leads the design and implementation of business solutions for BIPI’s Field-based Medical Affairs organization. In his career, Chris has helped successfully architect tailor-made customer solutions by building relationships that meet business needs.

Chris has lead highly complex and exciting initiatives such as the US implementation of the BI Opinion Leader Management Database (BOLD) CRM software, which supports over 100 users nation-wide, and was a lead contributor on the global implementation of the tool as well, where it supports well over 400 users world-wide in all of BIPI’s major operating units (OPUs). In addition to his leading role in the project development and implementation, Chris also provides technical expertise, support, and training to hundreds of internal users on these tools.

Chris is a motivated high achiever, who exceeds expectations by delivering results, and has earned the company’s highest honors, The Presidents Award and Vice Presidents Award for Team Spirit, as well as garnered numerous department honors and awards for his leadership and contribution to significant projects and programs.

Chris has been a member of the National Black MBA Association (NBMBAA) since 2007, where he has served on both the Membership and Communications committees, and was selected to chair the Westchester and Greater Connecticut (WGC) chapters Membership Committee in the fall of 2010 where he currently serves.

Chris is from Danbury, CT, by way of Greensboro, NC. He graduated from Danbury High School where he was a stellar student-athlete, earning several honors, including All-American honors in track and field and several other notable track and field and football honors. Chris continued his education, and his athletics at Marist College in Poughkeepsie, NY where he received a BA in Communications and Public Relations. When Chris wasn’t excelling in the classroom, he was dominating on the football field, where he was a Football Sub-Division (formerly Division 1AA) All-American running back in 2002. Chris has a Masters Certificate in Applied Project Management from Villanova University, and received his MBA in Health Care Management from Capella University.
