Welcome to the Westchester/Greater Connecticut Chapter of the National Black MBA Association (NBMBAA – WGC). It is with great enthusiasm, passion and excitement that I take on the coveted role of President of this astounding chapter. The WGC chapter is an extension of the national membership organization which leads in the creation of educational opportunities and economic growth for African American professionals. The NBMBAA WGC Chapter designs and delivers innovative and creative programs that stimulate intellectual and economic growth in the local professional community. These programs include professional development, entrepreneur training, employment education and leadership workshops and seminars.
(Please view our calendar for a list of programs that you can participate in.)
Our chapter proudly boasts the title of "Chapter of the Year" for three of the past five years. This national recognition demonstrates the dedication and tremendous support of leading Westchester and Connecticut corporations, prestigious educational partners and dedicated community partners, as well as our enthusiastic members and leadership team.
Our most significant impact is through our commitment to future leaders. The chapter's Leaders of Tomorrow (LOT) high school mentoring program supports high school students with academic, leadership, economic and interpersonal achievement. Mentors from various professional arenas provide their experiences, expertise and insight to the "Leaders", as the high school students are appropriately referred to in our program.
Please browse our website, attend our programs and support our chapter's LOT program as we continue serving the Westchester and Greater CT communities.
